Calcined powders were milled for 48 h, dried and pressed into disks under pressure of 100 kgf/cm2 and sintered at 1080 OC for 2 h. The samples of the synthesized composition were poled in silicone oil at 120°C by applying a DC field of 4 kV/mm for 60 min. All electrical measurements were done on aged samples (24 h after poling). ,S,-BT ceramics sintered at 1080 O C for 2 h (Philips Xpert Pro). All the peaks were indexed according to perovskite structure. The inset of Fig. 2 shows the variation of tetragonality in (I-x)KNLN-xBT and KNLN&-BT ceramics.
