The conventional method initiates HO at t1 from the internal I/O through the cellular I/F to the external I/O when entering the service area. Due to setup latency, a media disruption was perceived during media HO. In contrast, the proactive HO method started a soft HO at t1 upon entering the ready range. Media disruption was not observed since both internal and external I/O were already outputting audio data before the tester entered the valid range at t2. Although RTP streaming to the internal I/O through Cellular was stopped at t2, it was resumed before the tester left the ready range because of proactive HO control triggered at t3.
