Table 1 compares our proposed approaches (OMMSP and HMMSP) with the other three methods (SELRP [8], MNL [14] and MILP [12]) for different grid networks. The Number of sensor nodes varies between 36 and 81 while the number of sink nodes varies between 1 and 3.

In fact, OMMSP is useful for small-scale networks to achieve the optimal network lifetime. We can use HMMSP for large-scale networks to improve network lifetime in a reasonable time.
